Real Madrid star favours €40m Arsenal move over Dortmund switch

Arsenal are still interested in a €40million move for a Real Madrid forward, according to the latest reports.

On Tuesday, Spanish outlet El Confidencial reported that the Gunners are still keen on a move for Karim Benzema.

They claim that Arsenal face competition from Borussia Dortmund for the 30-year-old, however both coach Zinedine Zidane and star man Cristiano Ronaldo do not want Benzema to leave.

Now, Don Balon are suggesting that Real president Florentino Perez is not interested in what his coach and key player think and will sell for the right offer.

They go on to state that Dortmund have made a €60m bid for the former Lyon star, an amount which Perez is happy to accept.

Benzema on the other hand does not want a move to Dortmund – instead he would rather make a €40m Arsenal switch or stay at the Bernabeu.
