EXCLUSIVE: Ligue 1 giants set to beat Leeds, West Ham to Champ duo

Arnaut Danjuma, Bournemouth midfielder

Lille have entered the race for Championship stars Arnaut Danjuma and Michael Olise, TEAMtalk can reveal – with star man Jonathan Ikone poised to leave the French champions.

Ikone has emerged as a key figure in Lille’s title charge and now he has a host of Europe’s top clubs chasing his signature. It was reported earlier this week that Liverpool were closely looking into a deal as they bid to boost their attack. The four-times capped France star is also being tracked by Borussia Dortmund as a potential successor to Jadon Sancho.

Lille will then look to use some of the Ikone money to bolster their attacking options and TEAMtalk understands both Danjuma and Olise are interesting them.

Reading star Olise is one of the most highly-rated young wingers in Europe. Indeed, the French star has a number of clubs chasing his signature, including Bayern Munich as previously revealed. Chelsea, Arsenal and Leeds are also among those keeping tabs on him.

After Reading’s failure to maintain their play-off push this season, Hammersmith-born Olise will now leave the Madeski. And we can reveal that Lille are very firmly in the chase for the 19-year-old.

Danjuma also wanted by Lille

But Olise is not the only player from England’s second division that has caught Lille’s eye. They are also been keeping a close watch on Bournemouth talent Danjuma.

Danjuma was in sparkling form for Bournemouth and played a huge role in their top-six finish.

Arnaut Danjuma Bournemouth TEAMtalk

He scored 17 times and added seven assists during a sparkling season on the south coast. However, the Cherries were to fall short in the play-off semi-finals after defeat to Brentford.

The Dutchman has interest from a number of Premier League clubs including Brighton, Southampton, West Ham, Watford and Wolves.

But the interest from Lille could be prove a tempting alternative for the former Club Brugge star, especially with Champions League football on offer.

Having paid £13.5m for him last summer, the Cherries are unlikely to sell for much less than £20m.
